Parent Financial Support
I am the Financial Inclusion Support Officer for your child’s school, and I am here to support with all aspects of managing your money. I can give advice and support around making sure that you are claiming the benefits that you are entitled to and can help with all benefit applications, including child disability benefits and welfare benefit appeals. I can signpost you for help with the cost of school equipment and uniforms, look at support with paying fuel bills, managing debts and can refer you to local community groups including help with foodbank food and fuel and holiday activities with food for children.
As we approach the end of this school year, I would like to remind you of the support that I can offer as we know that school holidays can be financially challenging, trying to find fun activities for children, as well as thinking about costs associated with the new school year.
I am available for telephone support Monday to Friday, or you can arrange to meet me face to face near to where you live. I work during school term time and will also be available during most of the school holidays.
