Pupil Premium

Introduced in 2011, the pupil premium is a sum of money given to schools each year by the Government to improve the attainment and progress of disadvantaged children.  The pupil premium is intended to directly benefit the children who are eligible, helping to narrow the attainment and progress gap between them and their classmates.  At Greenfield we identify the specific barriers to progress that this cohort present and develop annual strategies to support all those in receipt of the funding to achieve their potential.

As a creative and inclusive school, we believe that our environment for learning should be meaningful, engaging, relevant and accessible.

We want each and every student to take advantage of the opportunities we offer to develop fully their potential as ambitious, confident self-led learners.  Support is tailored to individuals and groups across all aspects of school life.  Plans are reviewed annually and assessed for impact. Current and previous plans can be viewed below.

If you would like any further information around the use of the funding, please contact us on contact@greenfieldacademy.org.uk
